CHuB is a mole.  He lives in the courtyard of the WPC.  He burrows all over the place, but especially seems found of a particular tree and its corresponding mulch enclosure.

CHuB is only about 3 inches long and light grey.

What does his name mean?  Cardozo Holmes Black the Grey is, of course, his given name, but the acronym is much easier on the tongue.  And the “Black the Grey” isn’t actually ironic.  Put it in context and it will make sense.
