Well, they’re finally getting rid of all the spare parts.  With the season essentially over for the Tribe and some serious issues having surfaced, the front office is discarding all the pieces that wouldn’t be needed next season.  In the course of doing so, they’re saving money for free agency, acquring some good-looking young prospects and even a couple major-league ready youngsters, and opening up spaces for people to try out for next season.

It’s tough to watch the season become early Spring Training, but makes the losses much more interesting in a soap-opera sort of way.  Of course, Cleveland fans know all about losing!
